Women's Golf Day

Nordic Women's Amateur Invitational by Ålandsbanken is held at Ålands Golfklubb June 1st-June 3rd 2025. The Nordic Women's Amateur Invitational is an invitational competition that is in collaboration with all national federations in the Nordic countries, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and a wild card team from Åland. 

Each federation may invite three players who can participate in the event, a total of 18 players. The goal is to reach all the top players within the Nordic countries and have them meet in a central part of Scandinavia, where they play on Finland's best-ranked course. The invitation is only to the women who rank highest on the world amateur golf ranking. The tournament has two events: A national team competition where the two best of three scores count and an individual strokeplay competition. The 54-hole competition is organized over three days (1/6-3/6) and has qualified for world ranking points (WAGR) Every player will receive 100€ appearance fee and the winner of the individual strokeplay competition tournament will receive a check for 850€. Prizes will be rewarded to the best teams.

Ålands Golfklubb is also hosting a public Women's Golf Day event June 1st-June 2nd 2025 with activities at the club for lady golfers and beginners. We offer golf lessons, fashion show, dance show, social activities, discounts in the golfshop and much more. Welcome to join and enjoy a golf day for women!

On Monday June 2, lady golfers are invited to play the competition course Slottsbanan at a lower price, with a 50 % discount of regular greenfee.
